Collection of node trees

new(name, type)¶

Add a new node tree to the main database

Parameters:	name (string) – New name for the datablock. type (enum in [‘SHADER’, ‘COMPOSITE’, ‘TEXTURE’]) – Type, The type of node_group to add
Returns:	New node tree datablock.
Return type:	`NodeTree`

remove(tree)¶

Remove a node tree from the current blendfile.

Parameters:	tree (`NodeTree`, (never None)) – Node tree to remove.
