One of the things we could be with a multi-user version of Blender is make an on-line world. People could create pieces of the world using Blender and upload it to the server so that others can see it and interact with it as well. They could use either a browser on a PC or on a mobile device. We could make MUD-like worlds, but now in 3D with sound and interactivity, audio, video, the works!

There's not much to say, really. First, we gotta get a network layer into Blender. Then we have to decide how we're going to create a persistent, multi-user Blender server thing. Manuela did a major study of competitors and what their pros and cons are, as well as putting some thoughts onto paper about what our world could be like.
However, I do want to keep track of some things here, so that's what this page is for, for now.
