Chapter 1. About Blender Documentation Project

With the Opening of Blender Sources, 13th of November A.D.2002 a whole new team of developers is gathering around Blender Foundation to make Blender better and better and lots of new users are discovering, or re-discopvering, Blender.

There are many ways in which you can contribute to the development of Blender, even if you are not a coder. One of the most important is writing documentation, allowing each person to share their knowledge across the net.

The Blender Documentation Project (BDP) encompasses both large book-like documents constituting Blender Core Documentation (Users's Guide, Reference Guide etc.) and short, specific, article-like documents (Tutorials).

Please refear to the Documentation Section and Documentation Forum on www.blender.org or sign in the Blender Documentation Board mailing list for more info on how you can contribute
