new(name)¶

Add a new metaball to the main database

Parameters:	name (string) – New name for the datablock.
Returns:	New metaball datablock.

Remove a metaball from the current blendfile.

Parameters:	metaball (`MetaBall`, (never None)) – MetaBall to remove.
