Collection of group sockets

new(name="Socket", type='VALUE')¶

Add a socket to the group tree

Parameters:	name (string, (optional, never None)) – Name, Name of the socket type (enum in [‘VALUE’, ‘VECTOR’, ‘RGBA’, ‘SHADER’, ‘BOOLEAN’, ‘MESH’, ‘INT’, ‘STRING’], (optional)) – Type, Type of socket
Returns:	New socket
Return type:	`NodeSocket`

expose(sock=None, add_link=True)¶

Expose an internal socket in the group tree

Parameters:	sock (`NodeSocket`, (optional)) – Socket, Internal node socket to expose add_link (boolean, (optional)) – Add Link, If TRUE, adds a link to the internal socket
Returns:	New socket
Return type:	`NodeSocket`
